The DSA Foundation for Creativity in Science and Technology has successfully commenced its Hostel Clearance and Move-In Exercise for newly admitted student residents in Ila-Orangun, Osun State. The exercise, held on Saturday, November 1, and Sunday, November 2, 2025, marks another milestone in the Foundation’s mission to empower young people through accessible, innovative, and conducive living environments that support academic excellence and technological growth.
The event began at 12:00 noon daily, with students completing their clearance through the official DSA Foundation portal. They were required to present proof of payment, signed copies of the hostel’s Rules and Regulations, and acceptance confirmation available at: https://dsafoundation.net/dsa-foundation-hostel-application/#acceptance.
The Foundation emphasised that attendance in person was mandatory, cautioning that failure to appear for clearance could result in disqualification and the immediate reallocation of the bed space to other applicants.
Located at No. 2, Bogunbolu Street, Off Ora Road, Adjacent Ayo Babalola House, Behind Abike Hotel, Iperin, Ila-Orangun, Osun State, the DSA Foundation Hostel features state-of-the-art facilities designed to create a balance between comfort and academic focus, including:

Speaking at the event, the DSA National Coordinator – Dr Scoolj, Oluwajuwonlo Olawale, highlighted the Foundation’s dedication to nurturing a culture of growth and innovation:
“The DSA Hostel is more than accommodation — it’s a community for thinkers, innovators, and changemakers. Our vision is to create an environment where young people can thrive academically and socially while contributing meaningfully to society.”
Students were equally excited about joining the new community.
“I’m really grateful to DSA Foundation for this opportunity. The hostel is affordable, secure, and well-equipped—it feels like home,” said Adegoke Oluwakorede Ayeni., a 200L Student , Medicine and surgery Basic clinical science.
“The idea that we become ambassadors inspires me. It means we’re not just tenants; we’re part of something that wants to make our communities better,” added Ogundapo Dorcas Oluwabunmi, an Audiology undergraduate.
