A Year Anchored by Circular Technology
One of the major focus projects for the year is Circular Technology – From Waste to Knowledge.
This flagship initiative is inspired by the principles of the circular economy, where waste is no longer seen as a problem but as a resource for learning, innovation, and empowerment.
Through Circular Technology, DSA Foundation will:
- Collect used and end-of-life electronic gadgets (working or not)
- Train young people in device repair, refurbishment, and digital literacy
- Create employment pathways for trained participants
- Redistribute refurbished gadgets to students and learners who cannot afford them
- Expand access to science and technology education while reducing e-waste
This project reflects our belief that environmental sustainability and human development must go hand in hand. By turning discarded technology into tools for learning, we are not only addressing digital inequality but also nurturing a new generation of skilled innovators and problem-solvers.
Strengthening Our Core Projects

- DSA Foundation Hostel Project – Providing safe, affordable, and conducive accommodation for students while nurturing leadership, discipline, and social responsibility.
- Mobile Science & Technology Lab – Taking hands-on learning directly to underserved schools and communities.
- Science on the Street – Bringing science out of classrooms and into everyday spaces to spark curiosity and inspire young minds.
- One-Minute Awareness Campaign – Driving bite-sized, impactful awareness on science, innovation, climate action, and community development.
